Django
A web framework popular with news and information sites, in part because it was created at Lawrence JournalWorld in Kansas. It is written in Python, a complex dynamic language. Major projects built with Django include the Disqus and News App teams, including those of the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times, which use the platform to present large datasets on the web in an easily accessible way.
