Session

A session lasts from the moment the user enters the website until the moment the user leaves it. This is a metric used by analytics platforms, and depending on which one you use often, it will have different warnings. Inactivity is considered the end of the session, even if the user has not left the site.

This is a website visit. This session allows the user to visit multiple subpages or sections of the same website.

A session is a record of the current activity of a computer connected to a website. A session is usually identified by a long string of characters. Using this string allows a website to keep track of who you are between requests without having to log in each time you visit a different page.

The time a visitor stays on a website, i.e. the time between entering and leaving the website.

A session is a single visit to your website, consisting of one or more pageviews, events, e-commerce transactions, and other interactions. The default session timeout is 30 minutes. This means that if someone is inactive on your site for more than 30 minutes, a new session will be reported if they take another action, such as visiting another page.

The time a visitor enters a site and stays there before leaving is called a session.

The time between when a user launches an application, computer, website, etc., and when they log out or exit.

This is when the user is actively engaged with the content. The default session in the app is 30 seconds.

A series of web page requests by a visitor without 30 consecutive minutes of inactivity.
