What are the problems with the Keystone Cougar?
Rear bumper slide out rack has bent and won’t slide back in. Travel Latch to hold open tri slide shower door broke. I’m not new to RVing. I take care of my equipment and don’t abuse it. This is without a doubt the worst engineered and manufactured RV I’ve ever owned. Keystone should be ashamed of producing it.
Is the Cougar a half ton towing truck?

Is the Keystone Cougar half ton trailer still in the shop?
This trailer has been in the shop more than out. Currently the converter is outages nbbbb d pulls the batteries down. Then nothing works. I intend to upgrade to a larger RV but it will not be anything made by Keystone. I intend to tell everyone how sorry these RVs are. I paid for a lot of money for this trailer but now I could not give it away.
Is the Keystone Cougar a fold out bed?
As far as a fold out bed it is horrible unless you have little kids to sleep on it. The biggest issue is that when you fold down the back to make the platform it is not level. The frames attached to the sides of the couch are installed on a slope.

Why is my slide out not working on my RV?
You’ll need to make sure you have enough power available for the slide out to function correctly. The slide out could also be misaligned or could be blocked by something in the way. You may need to resort to manually operating your slide out, so it is best to become familiar with the process before an issue comes up.
Is the Keystone Cougar a good RV for kids?
Wonderful and well equipped RV. Supported multiple trips with the kids, keeping everyone very comfortable and plenty of storage to support food prep and recreational activities. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Well built and laid out and easy to hook up and tow. Did you find this useful?
When did the Keystone Cougar 5th wheel come out?
Keystone is only offering to do the BARE MINIMUM to correct the issue. I asked to speak to a manager at corp office was told NO…. Did you find this useful? I purchased this 2018 Cougar half ton 5th wheel in April 2019.
